Without getting into a debate about Trump, I think we can all agree that the photo of him isn’t all that flattering. Does anyone know where that photo comes from? It’s not the photo on his Wikipedia article, nor is it the first hit on Google Images (it’s the third result). Looking quickly at Clinton, Sanders, Bush,

Since I work from home, I don’t have a commute to put a period on the end of the day, but cooking dinner serves a similar purpose.

    You got it!

Literally the first thing that came to mind when I read the title of this post.

Are you looking at the actual source article or the lifehacker post? The footnotes are on the source article.

There is not citation for his comments on ‘based on this study.’ What study?

    Nope, just a casual observer.

I was just curious if you were consistently susceptible to illusory correlation or not.

Just out of curiosity, after you’ve taken some time to reflect on this article and your comment and the people who have replied and will reply to you, can you come back and answer two questions for me?

I have no problem with anyone breaking these terms down. But I wouldn’t call it a “trap”. I wouldn’t demonize the banks. Someone is giving you free money. One should wonder why it’s free. That’s my point.

You could read the agreements, then research what any unfamiliar terms mean. That’s what I did.

You did it again. You failed to recognize the context of my comment. Do you have this problem often?

Yes, my reply was in the context of the discussion. Not a fan of PHP, but also not a fan of people who blindly discount entire languages. I’m not stupid enough to suggest that PHP or Node are not backend technologies. It’d be factually incorrect...

Also for the billionth time, I did not discount anything. I simply pointed out that the infographic was geared towards front-end developers. Others agreed. The author updated the article. Everyone moved on. Except you. You seem stuck arguing against yourself.

The Internet Sensitivity Award, you win. Lots of butthurt on the interwebz there is, quite the achievement it is.

In the context of the graphic. On their own, sure.

What is your problem? Do you just get off on trolling people in the comments on lifehacker? I don’t get it.

When did I say that the skillsets “don’t count”?

haha, thanks, I’ll skip the lesson on manual FTP as a deployment strategy. I have a pretty solid deployment strategy of my own.
