Yup, exact same experience here (right down to Winamp). I had just assumed that iTunes got better since then, but maybe it didn't!

Was just about to post the same thing. I think that it might be really good on OSX and really bad on Windows. I haven't used it on Windows in a long time, so I can't really comment on that. On OSX it's really good, though. It just works, like most other Apple software.

I guess those tips? For the record, I think this is super shady and would probably avoid it even if I could use it. I don't like it when I don't see a clear profit model for a company, especially one like this that takes substantial capital just to operate.

Ah yes, that sucks. I use mine via exchange, which I vaguely recall was not going to be supported in the future or something, I'm unsure about that. It was working for me last I checked on two accounts, but I recently switched to Mailbox

afaik it does support multiple accounts now, and they all push.

The upside of a book club is that you're sort of pressured into reading. I've thought about joining them because I love to read, but don't have the attention span for it. I start a book and put it down a few pages or a chapter in (depending on how interesting I find it in the first sitting - and the chapter sizes,

Great - thanks for the advice!

That is really good to know - thanks for the tip!

Hey Tony, I appreciate your time, hopefully I'm not too late.

Ha! There you go. Even more reason why Amazon's real intentions can not possibly be simplifying their handling of sales tax in the few states they actually have to collect it in. This problem has already been solved by a third party. I find it hard to believe Amazon can't utilize it or roll their own solution with

Your facebook password is definitely secure. It's never passed to any site authenticating you through Facebook.

They are, but they claim it's because they want the rules to be more simple for everyone. They're pretending that this somehow makes things easier for people, when it actually makes them much more complex for smaller online vendors ($1M in revenue is quite low).

I completely agree. My point was just that Amazon's interest is in a level playing field, they couldn't care less about the "little guy" or anything else. Just pointing that out.

100% agree, that was my point exactly.

I corrected myself on another comment - either way, I stand by my assertion that Amazon could still handle it. The complexity of sales tax is not burdening Amazon in any meaningful way. Don't forget, they're only burdened by sales tax in states that they have a physical presence in right now, not every municipality

Thank you, there's good info there.

Yes, most states do this. Some states assuming a certain number of taxable purchases that were never taxed.

Right, I understand, I still think that, while complex, it's something that Amazon is more than capable of handling. My only point was that that's not the reason that Amazon cares.
