LOL This.
LOL This.
I don't know much about the particular issues that you had with your rMBP, as I don't own one myself and haven't been following the issue, but based on this story, it really sounds like you ran into a bad "genius". I haven't required much support from Apple, but with the exception of what I considered to be battery…
My favorite part is at the very end when the two chicks start making out and the video abruptly cuts off LOL
So how does Kevin prevent his victims from screaming? Because after watching this video, I'm 100% sure he has victims.
That's probably because they were using imitation Duck Tape. You have to use the stuff made with real duck.
Perhaps this particular piece of malware is new, but this concept isn't new at all. It's something that I deal with on a regular basis when supporting Windows clients. They're typically pretty easy to remove, but extremely confusing to the user, often conning them into purchasing the fake software, and doing…
But is that the only source of its value, or is its value greatly inflated due to its investment value?
Navigate with it.
Also, I think the average person is more comfortable with machines like these than they are with the quantity of dogs that would be required to replace them.
I'll answer your question with another question: How do you hide enough explosives for an attack in your shoes?
And what happens to the money invested in that gold? Sucking trillions of dollars of value out of the economy wouldn't harm it?
This.
This is the saddest thing I've ever seen.
So there's no money invested in gold whatsoever? That's funny. I thought people were willing to pay nearly $1800 per ounce for it.
And also anyone invested in it ;)
Exactly. And that kind of value suddenly vanishing at that scale would certainly disrupt the economy - and at the very least, it wouldn't help it, which was all I was saying.
Someone else raised that point as well, and it's very good. Gold would likely still settle at a much lower value if it didn't have an investment appeal, which would certainly disrupt the economy, regardless of how beneficial to certain industries it'd be.
LOL. Entire industries would collapse, but in their place would be a new industry. This would be more like people suddenly discovering that they could teleport using their own mental energy, requiring no external assistance. Entire industries would collapse with no replacement.
I suppose the question is how much gold chloride exists.
Yes. Exactly. And one day, it's going to come crashing down. It's unsustainable.
