Power users absolutely see the difference - or they're not really power users.

Wow, thanks for that - you're a real condescending prick, huh?

Best case, they have a good relationship and this was just a "fluke." Worst case, they have a terrible relationship (on account of all the public humiliation and child abuse) and this was just one incident in a pattern of bad behavior.

Yup. Most websites have that policy due to COPPA.

Maybe the mother should have sat down and had a real conversation about alcohol with her daughter instead of publicly humiliating her.

That's all fine. I'm not arguing the course of action she took. Just that sometimes, when children do things, parents need to take a look at their parenting, as that's usually to blame.

"She actually asked for a spanking instead; she begged for a spanking," she said.

I'm not commenting on the mother making the kid embarrass herself on the Internet, I was simply pointing out that her style of parenting may have lead to this behavior.

Because if they did, the mother wouldn't need to hit her child.

If she didn't have a camera or a cell phone she wouldn't have taken the picture, so, by your logic, she shouldn't have a camera so she can't take photos with alcohol so she can't post them on the Internet and get peer pressured into drinking it.

Maybe if the mother hadn't been spanking her kid, and instead formed a real relationship with her where she explained why she should and should not do things, she wouldn't have posted such a picture. And, in the end, she was smart enough not to drink it - she in fact alluded to the fact that she knew she

Yeah, probably is some ff issue. Chrome is a good solution for that :)

From a user's perspective, Windows 7 and OSX may appear similar. From anyone with a deeper knowledge of operating systems, they are not even close. Unix is superior in more ways than I can list here. That's not to say that Windows 7 isn't good, or acceptable, or maybe even desirable because of its ubiquity.

    In for one life-size version.

    You must be on Windows.

    :(

LOL that's what Tor is for.

haha yeah, absolutely. I'm in that line of work - computer repair. I get countless "Geek Squad Refugees" as I call them. They charge them insane amounts of money and rarely, if ever, fix the problem. They often just wipe the machines without alerting the customer without even attempting to backup their data.
