That's an interesting point. I hadn't thought about that. I'd need to think about that for a bit before giving you an opinion. My gut reaction is that his off duty remarks don't represent the government, and that he's still a private citizen entitled to the same rights that any other private citizen is entitled to.

Yeah, I really hope I'm not banned for this. I was careful not to call out Mario in any way. I don't think this is an issue unique to him or any author here on Giz, I think it's a greater societal issue. Everyone is all for freedom, until they don't like what people have to say, and then they're against it. It

Putting the content of his posts aside - surely you recognize the hypocrisy here. It's sort of alluded to in the post: Usually we get pretty upset when someone gets in trouble at work or school for a status update or tweet. But this Florida firefighter got what he deserved...

Anyone know where one would find said scene? I waited until the end of the credits...

Well, someone else pointed out that it's $45 and you pay $50 when you file the claim, so you're only saving $5 and wasting a lot of time.

I mean, is it THAT far fetched that it's some sort of sexual device? Some thigh strapped vibrator, maybe? That's all I see. I tried finding a more mature answer, but after watching this 5 or so times, that's still all that I see.

Interesting. I guess the whole 7" tablet thing really was overhyped.

That's more like what I'd expect of the government haha. I can only imagine how long it'd take each agency to agree on some kind of standardization.

Right! I forgot about that actually. I remember that was in the keynote, then I bought iPhoto, and basically forgot all about it. I'll have to give that a try.

That is interesting. It makes some sense if those are the standard always-there Android buttons. For some reason I was picturing the buttons were actually drawn on the screen, versus always being there, but just being touch sensitive vs. actual buttons. I don't recall having an issue with those style buttons when I

I would love to see this at the album level. Sharing several photos taken with your iDevice is far more difficult than it needs to be.

LOL I can picture this conversation:

Seconded. Verizon rocks. I've had some issues with FiOS, particularly their latest boxes and firmware. But when compared to the other cable companies, they're lightyears ahead.

I think there's this misconception that CEO's have to have this deep knowledge of their company's product line at a very technical level. A CEO's job is to run the company as an entity. Obviously a great CEO has intimate ties with the company's products (i.e. Steve Jobs), but the corporate world doesn't always view

Wow, very interesting. So I'd imagine that's the access they were given. I don't know if from there you need access to the various entities, or if there's authorization happening with a single entity (making this story much more plausible).

My take on this may seem a bit odd at first, but here it goes:

I have no knowledge of how government systems operate, but I'd imagine (hope) that there's some level of integration between them? If the FBI has some data that the DoD needs, there must be some way for their two systems to interface and share data, given a valid security clearance? Otherwise how else would data be

I guess my argument is that bigger isn't necessarily always better. I'm happy with my screen size. I find a 4.6" screen to be excessive. Some people really love them, and that's cool, but they're definitely not for me. I have an iPad. I have a laptop. I have a desktop (with two massive displays). I don't need a

I would have to disagree with two points:

    Best. Title. Ever.
