I wasn’t catching the sarcasm in your first paragraph, and started to think you were one of *those* commenters... The fact that those sentences are verbatim what people like my parents say is pretty disturbing.

I am completely unsurprised... and very thankful that dashcams didn’t exist 25 years ago when I was working in a service station. And that’s all I’ll say about the techs’ behavior.

I swear I made that exact same joke to my wife’s family a couple of years ago. They’re all car nuts, never take public transportation and complained about the congestion and lack of parking spots in the city. Unsurprisingly, they didn’t get what I was hinting at.
