I’ll never understand why people are upset that a show the originally owed much of it’s initial popularity to the fact that it deceived the audience as to who the primary protagonist was turns out to have been deceiving them over who the primary antagonist is.

You’re assuming that the Night King dying in a rather simple, abrupt fashion isn’t what GRRM is planning, yet if we’re prefacing all this on GRRM subverting fantasy tropes, this is exactly the sort of thing that would happen.

To recap: Endgame is now the most profitable movie ever. People voted with their money. You can dislike the movie all you want, but you’ve been heavily outvoted.

I also enjoy AoU for the extremely fun Hulk vs Iron Man Hulkbuster fight. That is rad.
