Agreed on most points about the importance of character-based storytelling in the series and I loved it for that reason.

I played PC multiplayer shooters and still loved playing Goldeneye. You could love both back then and you can love both now.

Good pun. But they really did fail her. The fell into every trap that Depp’s team laid for them. Her main attorney was getting outmanuevered by witnesses.

I don’t understand why you list Secret Invasion as “probably still happening.” It doesn’t have a release date yet but it’s been in principle photography for over a month. With Marvel, if they film it, it’s coming out, no probably about it. It’s as certain as She Hulk at this point.

That is an exceptionally valid question.

Whoa, Fast & Furious IS NOT the worst Fast movie, Fate of the Furious is the worst film of the franchise. And Fast 9 wasn’t too far behind.

Massively under-delivered seems a bit overblown. I mean, they delivered one of the best Halo campaigns of all time, along with a decently robust free-to-play multiplayer. Massively? No. Maybe partially under-delivered, but massively is a bridge too far.

Can’t they just bring Max Payne into the Control universe? I mean, he’s basically an Object of Power with his bullet-time.

If I remember the the canon comics correctly, Luke did train a fair amount of jedi from kids to young adults, but Ben killed a few of them when he burned down the temple, and then killed a few more when he went looking for the Knights of Ren.  There might be a few more out there, but the implications of the franchise

I really hope they didn’t kill Cobb Vanth. Star Wars needs some Raylan Givens. I mean, the opening of the episode was basically a scene from Justified. I really wanted Olyphant to drop back into his Kentucky drawl in that scene.

Just approach it from the top with the human sniper rifle.  Couple of solid headshots from range and down he goes.  Then have a battle rifle with you to clean up the last of his crew after you’re out of sniper rounds.

Don’t buy that Lenovo M10.  I got one based on articles like this and while the build quality is nice, that chipset and memory is slow as shit.  It’s painful to use, overly thick and heavy, and can’t run anything smoothly other than the most basic apps.

Just bought a car myself. Granted, I did a lease buy out for the Ford SUV I’d been driving for 3 years.

Oh god, that one with the grav hammer was such a pain in the ass. Especially if you walk into it not realizing it’s coming and have shitty weapons. Took me forever.

Microsoft is literally owning this generation of gaming on pretty much all platforms. Game Pass and Streaming were the best, most future-thinking things MS has done since the launch of Xbox Live.

My wife and I are big fans of medieval and fantasy tv shows (Game of Thrones, The Witcher, Vikings, The Last Kingdom, etc...) and we both really liked the first season. It definitely suffered from pacing issues throughout, but I thought all the performances were pretty good, non stellar, but good.

Yeah, but think about who the MCU Clint Barton is: a former SHIELD assassin. He was trained and spent the majority of his career before The Avengers killing bad people for good reasons.

Honestly, I feel liked it capped off Maguire’s franchise by having him cure his biggest villain in Osborne and reconnect with a now healthy Octavias. But I left the theater wanting more of Garfield. I forgot how charming he was in the role and you could tell how much he relished being able to do it again.

Details please?
