I think especially in the age range they are searching in. If they were searching for a 35-40 year old actor, there would be a lot more people who fit the bill a little better.

I think Maul had a couple lines but they were obviously forgettable.

Phantom Menace, with its plethora of Jar Jar, and lack of anything essential to the overall Star Wars story, is the worst to me.

Darth Maul looks cool, and his lightsaber was great, but he really didn't do much or have much characterization at all.

The Dark Side is very slimming.
