I don’t think “over-the-top” is at all accurate in describing Toni Collette’s monologue here. Considering the circumstances the characters are in, it’s nowhere near the top. It’s one of the most believably intense performances ever. It is not scenery-chewing or emoting for emoting’s sake, which is what I believe…

Don’t let this review disappoint you into not checking it out. I just saw this and I loved it for the most part. Unlike the reviewer, I found the visuals thrilling and completely organic, even moving at times. The review is just one opinion.

I hope like hell that, if there is an extended version, we get to see the rest of the film (tv show?) within the film, Lancer.

Man, I love DaVinci’s Inquest, which I also came across in syndication and thus watched completely out of order. There is a level of realism to Nicholas Campbell’s performance that I haven’t seen in any other TV show.

Batman clearly had Bane's number and Bane saw that he did. So what happened after the Talia reveal, with Catwoman rescuing him from a shotgun blast…
