That’s a pretty damning statement. Also, gross.

Boggle is PRIME wrecking time, tho. Play to win or GTFO.
I’ll take mine, thanks. As of now, we still don’t have a litmus test for being “American”. You want to speak your own language? Fine. Who cares? Thanks to Trump and his cronies, we’ll see how long that lasts but for now, I’ll take the assumption that a burqa is more complicated than just “ban it” as the mark of a…
that’s not a true assumption. some women choose to. and anyway, let’s not pretend this ban is out of some sense of concern for these women. we know what it’s about.
Come on. We all know this isn’t about women being oppressed. It’s nonsense racism disguised as concern. Banning how people dress will do nothing to address whatever issues they think are occurring. It’s a myopic, racist approach to what might be problem, but isn’t always. Some women actually do choose to wear a veil.…
Austria has a short memory. I guess 7o years is about how long it takes to forget what happens when we pass laws based on people’s religion/ethnicity (here in the USA, too). Hey Austria, a little self-awareness never hurt anyone.
he lives near my mom on Maine. We have just missed him at his fave diner a few times. He also gave money to save a nearby orchard from condo development and there is an awesome letter/poster form local kids to him and his wife on the wall. I think his daughter runs it but not 100% sure. He’s a good dude.
giving people “ammo” is not a reason to be silent.
why not? what’s more relevant now than politics? It’s THE current event. That, and GoT.
Should I tell him?
I agree. I always liked her stand up and show, but when we saw her live it was definitely “meh”.
I mean, so? It’s how she makes a living. She’s an entertainer. Shouldn’t she be looking for attention?
yeah, rubbing it in is the trick. Sort of annoying since the spray was supposed to be easier. I like neutrogena wet skin spray since it can be re-applied on wet skin. No need to wait to dry off. (after 6 rounds of skin cancer, I feel like a sunscreen expert at this point).
I’ve had skin cancer 6 times. Umbrellas blow away and UV clothes are hot AF. I love the beach, but I need to sit in the shade and we don’t have those nice beaches with trees on them around here. It’s asphalt, dune, beach. There are always a bunch of tents, never occurred to me before I had one that it was rude. The…
With spray sunscreen, you need to see your skin get wet from the spray and rub it in, otherwise you risk just sort of vaporizing mist on yourself. Lotions are a better choice, but if you use a spray, you need to use a LOT and re-apply often.
wind will take that umbrella far and wide.
Could not go to the beach w/out my Sunbrella. That sucker NEVER blows away, is easy AF to set up and put away, and has windows!!!
The doctor who has the treatment has since said it would not work on Charlie. The parents have chosen to ignore this, however.
This is not a “good first step”. This is cruel and inhumane. Doctors have suggested he may not survive an ambulance ride home, never-mind a flight to the US. Prolonging this poor boy’s life for an experiment that will not succeed is beyond cruel. Children are not the property of their parents.
As far as tween fads go, this one is pretty awesome. My kids are both somewhat obsessed, and making slime is now the #1 fave activity. It’s super messy, the food coloring stains (recommend using paint instead), but on the plus side they are actually doing sciencey stuff to figure out the best recipes, fix botched…
