oy. I found I was pregnant with my first kid on my way intro surgery. needless to say, I was about 10 weeks in or so. I spent those 10 weeks drinking a lot, smoking a lot, and some other stuff...when I mentioned this to the OB he said “you smoke crack? no? you’re good.” Fetal alcohol syndrome is the result of

Interesting. For Clark, she has been in touch with police routinely so they knew to expect this, so if she has a dog, they certainly know and won’t shoot it. Also, given that they knew this was a possibility, it’s likely they held back slightly (since it was very likely a hoax). But that’s due to her work on this

The stage musical is waaaaay raunchy. Like, not PG-13 friendly. I was SHOCKED.

I agree that diversity in dolls is a good idea, but as the mom of daughters, I think just adding a curvy doll is a cop-out. I get the idea of normalizing all body sizes, and there’s value in that. But Barbie should address the fact that the original doll is shaped like a XXX porn star. The fact that larger ;ittle

this is the reaction I had. I think if they just made the original more realistic and proportional, it would eliminate the need for all these varieties. realistically, is anyone going to by the curvy barbie for their kids? a tall one? I guess selling them in sets offsets this problem, but they are keeping the

i really like Baby Lips (terrible name...). They seem to glide on well, add a hint of shimmer ( or not, depending on what you get), and seem to last longer than most. not organic, full of chemicals, but that’s not necessarily a problem.

This seems problematic. The lawyers “argue” does not make it true. Jackie’s story may well be an outright lie. She may have experienced some sort of trauma and embellished it. She may have made it all up. That’s for the court to decide, not the lawyer. I’m not sure Eramo is going to have a case unless they can find

A lot of women don’t find the bunched up pockets flattering. Pockets cut diagonally generally open up and aren’t flattering, so manufacturers often leave them out entirely or add small horizontal pockets which are pretty useless.

not sure, but it seems like a lot of women’s dress shirts are cut for one body type. a more custom fit might help. there are other companies that do similar. try googling custom women’s dress shirts. maybe there’s a cheaper one.

This type of pricing seems so arbitrary and all over the place. Not sure it works anymore unless you are buying super high end stuff that only rich people can afford (it used to work, for sure). It seems that in recent years quality in general has taken a nosedive even with mid-higher price brands.I used to search out

agree. made my hubby suck it up and buy a few $$$ suits at brooks brothers about 8 years ago and they haven’t held up, style wise or quality wise. It might make more sense to spend about half that and get new ones every 3-4 years.

i am disappointed in brooks brothers too. I made my husband buy 2 $$$ suits there about 5 years ago (maybe 7) and they haven’t stood the test of time. I thought they would last at least 15 years given the cost.

when I tried to get my husband to upgrade his suits from his Marshall’s specials, I took him to Prada and showed him the $3,000 suits. I think he probably passed out. But then,I took him to Brooks Brothers and the $700 suit was a bargain!!!

also, pockets add bulk, which on pants (not jeans) can show up easily.

My friends swear by StitchFix. I work from home so I have time to shop (and find good deals) but my full time working pals all think StitchFix is great and worth the $$.

that’s the problem. I LOVED so many french names for my daughters but my husband pointed out that no one could pronounce them the way they were meant to sound, so they would not have that beautiful french accent and actually sound pretty dumb. So, Elodie would just not sound the same in an american accent. it would

When we named our oldest Ella in 2005, it was not common. Except it was for babies born in 2005, apparently....soooo many Ellas hanging around town, and even several with the same middle name.

seriously. we have Saoirse, Eilish , Aine, Aislin, Aiobhin, Ciara, just to name a few. NO ONE can pronounce these correctly (except me, because I am half Irish).

yes, but do you know an Axel Photon and an Oona Pixel? Because I do!!!!!
