There are VASTLY more similarities than there are differences.
I would say these two cars are just as comparable as the Mustang and Camaro.
The Volt and Model 3 are both designed for the same market segment.

The only thing luxury on the Model 3 is that iPad Pro they’re using for a dashboard. I’m willing to wager (in order to hit that $30k base price) you’ll probably find more luxury features in the Sonic.

If you anticipate the model 3 to be luxurious, you’re in for a surprise.
