Darth Sanchez, younger brother of Dirty....

It looks like it would make a great stand for watching movies, but how do you hold it to make a freakin' call?

Agreed. Weather.com's tracker has more info and I think it's a little easier to use.

Yeah....but he didn't have George Kennedy waiting up there somewhere, possibly wanting to kill him. Probably would have slowed him down a bit.

If the lens is the same as the FZ100, it's 2.8-8 at the wide end (2.8-11 when shooting video). At the zoom end, it's 5.2-8 (5.2-11 with video).

We have its predecessor, the FZ100. It looks like Panasonic made some interesting choices when updating the camera. The sensor dropped from 14.1MP to 12.1MP. I know pixel count means very little, so I assume the new sensor will actually take better photos. The video capability is an upgrade from the full HD @ 60i

And you're still going to have to buy your own review samples...

Agreed. I posted about this in #broken about three weeks ago. It was maddening on my iPad, where the text butted right up against the black frame. It now seems to be fixed on the iPad....

Review your history:

Well, if they open it this week and it doesn't contain an earthquake or hurricane, Giz won't post about it....

To bad conservatives will cut funding for it because it's science, which is automatically liberal.

Agreed...best thing I ever did for my feet. They're quite the conversation starter, too.

Wow...flashback. I wore Onitsuka Tiger wrestling shoes in the 70's. I think the brand is now owned/distributed by Asics.

How about unchecking them before installation? A lot of software comes with stuff you need to uncheck when you install....Ever installed AMD graphics drivers? It's gotten a bit better since they dropped all the game demos, but there's still a lot of unnecessary stuff. Java updates always want to install the Yahoo

I agree that Windows 8 might be what MS needs for a touch based OS. And you're right that Win7 does an OK job of integrating some touch input, but it falls apart the minute you open an app which only runs traditional menus. I made a separate comment further up about Apple needing to address this, too. All the apps

I can believe an iMac Touch (or whatever Apple would call it). Lion is a good first step in that direction, but all the apps will need to be touch-intuitive, or Apple will have the same problem Windows currently has with touch-driven all-in-ones.

No, the current all-in-ones aren't flying off the shelves, but tablets aren't either...except for iPads. Windows 7 is not smooth/comfortable when using touch, often because the apps aren't designed to be touch driven.

Agreed. High wattage through crappy speakers is just crappier, not better....
