@Lite: an adventurer is me!: Oops....sorry. Still a yes. The ZonePlayers have analog inputs, which then let you play whatever you've connected from any ZonePlayer in the house....plug an iPod into the living room ZonePlayer and you can listen to it from the bedroom Zone.

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: If you use a ZonePlayer 90 (digital or analog outputs, no amp) connected to your receiver, it should all be up to the capability of your receiver. Sonos would just be providing the music to a receiver input.

I hate to say this, Brian, but I agree with you. :)

Where's the other side of all this in your "reporting?" I've seen some comments from the other side, but all the TSA stuff you have been posting has been very one-sided....and much of it, like this article, is old. You need to be cognizant of the flames you're fanning.

@Nitesh: Just google it.....there's always a copy posted online somewhere....

We could prevent many more deaths by tying breathalyzers to the ignitions of every car....

@stifflittlefinger: If you go through the scanner and they still want to pat you down afterward, you'll know what the scanner tech saw...

@Justin Hamilton: Agreed...the person looking at the image is walled off from the scanner and cannot even see you. Nobody can tie the image to you.

@Dark-koopa: Rather sad, actually, if you're proud of that....

It will probably go after all the feral cats, which also hunt the rats and mice. I wouldn't be surprised if it eliminates more cats than rats, making the rat problem worse.

Pretty cool, but without a case, probably extra noisy. Why not make the wires longer and put the whole thing in the attic? You'd never hear a sound.....but I guess noise suppression isn't the point here. ;)

@cliffpro: Interesting tidbit from Mental Floss: The photographer was shooting the Beatles playing around in the snow. Their arm movements reminded him of semaphore. He decided they should spell out HELP on the album cover. However, he found he didn't like the look of HELP, so the cover spells NUJV instead.

@OMG! Ponies!: I know....that's why I bought an iPhone instead. Works much better...

@hvrock13: I think there is also the inconvenience factor. We have become a society of people who talk a lot about doing the right things, but only so long as we are not inconvenienced:

I wouldn't want to drive at speed on a road like that. The road noise would be terrible. It does have some advantages, though.

@torched - White Gold Wielder: The prep work is the same whether the pavestones are laid by hand or by machine. This just makes laying the pavestones much quicker and, I assume, much more exact.

@Mark 2000: 1977's Kentucky Fried Movie — After all of these years, it's still one of the funniest movies I've ever watched. I think the clip in question was called "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble."

@TheCrudMan: Tab and Coke are the same company. More like Mr. Pibb to the iPad's Dr. Pepper.

@72Riv: It's not just file size. In a portable device, you need to worry about power consumption and its effects — battery life and heat. The graphics horsepower required to drive a 1080i/p display is greater than what is required to drive 720p. If our eyes can't see the difference on a screen this small, why kill
