Two buckets, baby! Two buckets. Always.

During my marriage, I did almost all the initiating. I was frequently put off with “I’m too tired.” Being rejected is one thing, but having your partner never initiate really makes you feel unwanted.

I would have possibly prevented the death of Helmeuth Koinigg at the 1974 US GP at Watkins Glen. Maybe even Francois Cevert the year before.

I had a 2004 Accord, silver of course. It was a bit bland, but it was very reliable and fit the need at the time. Probably had at least 150,000 miles on in by the time the ex-wife sold it.

I hate it when they show the race on CNBC! I don’t have cable. I do have Sling TV with NBCSN which allows me to watch.

Auto colors are so cyclical. When I was a kid, my grandfather had a dark green Dodge Dart. Within a few years Vietnam was in full swing and green vehicles were out. Fast forward to 1995 and I bought a Ford Explorer. As the environmental movement picked up steam, green vehicles were everywhere.

Refund! Refund! Refund!

Honest question. I know people love these low mileage finds, but for vehicles that are sitting around for years, aren’t they  going to have all the seals dried out and cracking and other problems from having not been run? Although this example looks pretty nice, I could imaging getting an old barn find up and running

I was watching that episode too! I thought for a moment and then remembered that line from Thomas Wolf’s The Right Stuff “Godspeed John Glenn.”

Having worked in local and state government and a governor, I can only image how the big the shit storm is right now behind the scenes. Wow! That is a REALLY unpleasant place to be right now. (I guess it has been, but you get the idea.)

And what about all the clocks? Were they able to save the clocks?

This is looking like it will be “death by a thousand cuts.” No great single bombshell, just tid-bit, by tid-bit that ultimately adds up and dooms the whole lot of them.

Hmm, I guess that would explain my drive. Always liked intimacy, since being on Wellbutrin I really like it. Never thought about the connection.

Indeed, a sad reminder.

Years ago, in our circle of friends, I was considered a to be a freak dad for buying my kids boating life vests. I remember reading an article that said pediatricians didn’t recommend it at the beach — I don’t remember why. But I was not going to take a chance if my kid got knocked over by the back wash. The girls

Any of those alcantara interiors must be a nightmare to keep clean, and so many of the Porsches have it now. I don’t know if it’s supposed to denote luxury, or what. All I can think of is what a pain to clean when it gets dirty.

Millionaire members of congress now need housing subsidies? For fuck’s sake, does their appalling greed have no end?

This doesn’t surprise me. My daughter played competitive soccer between U8 and U10. Some of those parents were rabid! I’m sure it’s at least that bad with football, baseball and basketball parents.

My ex-GF and I were pretty talkative during sex. She was quite passionate and would get lost in the experience (for lack of a better expression) For us, the talking started as “Would you like it if I......” or “I want you to.....” That leads to replies of “Yes, I love it when you......” for example.

After growing up and spending 30 years in cold, gray, cloudy Central NY, I moved to NC 20 years ago and was thrilled at all the sunshine. It really helped my mood, although I did have a big adjustment to deal with the heat.
