My dad was all grey by 30. I’m a guy and expected the same. I did start using the wash-out grey cover-up stuff when I was about 30. When I got to 42, I decided that it wasn’t possible to make it look natural without spending a ton of money, so I stopped.

Mother’s Day has always been a super-stressful holiday. Every year my mom would turn into a raging bitch, saddle my sister and me with major guilt trips and Woe-is-Me BS. Every year, you’d buy a card and some flowers and brace yourself for the abusive onslaught. (That was in addition to the bi-polar, abusive treatment

Now might be a good time for the president to Google “Archibald Cox.”

450 miles. Last summer I found the car I was looking for online at a dealer. It was CPO, low miles and fairly priced.

I think there is a strong chance of that happening. His need to boast and brag will trip him up. Later, he’ll try to take it back by saying he meant something else, but I hope by then it will be too late.

I grew up in rural Upstate NY, have been all over this country and now live in the South, and no doubt, the most overt, racist shit typically was heard in the big cities of the Northeast, with Boston leading the pack.

Many years ago, when my oldest was maybe 3, we were nearing the end of a 3.5 hour trip to the inlaws, she threw-up what seemed like gallons of milk.

To me it looked more like an elbow or forearm to the head, but I only saw the one angle. It didn’t look deliberate to me. I was surprised by the misconduct, but I think you are right that it probably prevented the game from getting way out of hand.

I read the politico article this morning.... out of curiosity and impending dread.

I’m no expert, and I have never played one TV, but I think he suffers from serious ADD. Add that to that he’s shallow, completely uninterested in details and not very aware of the world around him, and you have a dangerous combination for a president and this country.

Wow, you are not kidding. I have to chime in here. When I was in college in Ithaca, NY 30 years ago I worked at the only (back then) hotel downtown. After a short time as a porter, I was promoted to the front desk to face the real hell. It was a round front desk in the middle of the lobby. People would not cue up,

A hot cab driver in Ithaca? I’m skeptical. Lemme guess, you were headed home from the airport?

I hope you tell potential partners that you are positive for HSV-1, because you could easily give “mouth herpes” as you call it, to them if you go down on them. I don’t think they will care which strain you gave them. THEY will then have to tell future partners, who may, like you, write them off.

You make good points. For me, the ones that sting the most are when you go on a few dates and the other person checks so many of the boxes and then you start to think “Hey, maybe there’s some potential here.” And them BAM, they split. Easy to forget that they might not be seeing in you, what you see in them.

I thought historically that yellow was the bad luck car color?

I hate it when they move any of the F1 programming to CNBC. On Sling TV, the CNBC channel doesn’t show live programming (at least with my package.) I wish they would leave it on NBCSN or show it as a tape delay if there is a conflict.

“fuck everyone worse off than me; I’m better than them/no one helped me”, inexplicably handcuffed to a “you think you’re better n’ me?”

Even though I have lots of tools, I have always kept the tools that come with furniture, toys, etc. I put it in a small plasttic bag and label it. That way I don’t have to mess around and figure out if I need metric or English or exactly what size I need.

“I take a legal document very seriously and I wouldn’t go through the pains of setting this up if I intended to violate it,”

It’s not just The City. People are leaving NY from all over Upstate. Absurd property taxes and lack of good job prospects usually top the list.
