Sort of. There was a Marvel vs DC event in the 90s, and as part of it they did a bunch of character mashups that were referred to as the Amalgam Universe. Captain America crossed with Superman, Flash crossed with Ghost Rider (and Etrigan) , X-Men crossed with JLA, Bruce Wayne and Nick Fury, and yes, Wolverine and

I had high school students who were convinced that the megalodon and more worryingly the mermaids shows were real. The "science" channels should be required to indicate that these types of programs are fiction (like the parental advisory warnings but for science).

Or maybe we'll see this guy.

Some sharks can tolerate fresh water. There have been reports of bull sharks as far north as Illinois, and around 100 years ago there were shark attacks on the Hudson I think, it was somewhere in New York. Although getting to lake Ontario would be more problematic.

I remember when Shark Week's main message was combating irrational fears of sharks to help foster conservation. At least the racism of Ancient Aliens hasn't made it's way over yet?

Agreed, but the people I met believe what they believe. I'm not an advocate for their view. What's obvious is that they'll vote for people who champion their cause, valid or not.

Echoing this. Another big complaint I've heard a lot of recently isn't that GMOs are inherently bad/evil, but that Monsanto and the other companies making them are there to make a quick buck, and aren't taking all the long-term effects (In terms of biodiversity and inevitable gene crossover into wild populations) into

One aspect that is a bit dangerous though is the crops that they have modified the seeds on.

If we ever face some sort of Apocalyptic situation, we wouldn't be able to grow many foods naturally from seed any more. (Obviously that is an extreme situation.)

Additionally, while they may not be putting chemicals or

Well, it's not fair when you pick the best/easiest/weirdest one... But that this got made into a movie was fairly bonkers...

... Then they both farted and it cured my cancer! Whooohooo! Amiright? [Raises hand expecting high fives]

No word on what the wolves have planned for their next caper.

I think a combination of both, although I know people will argue otherwise. This could have happened twenty years ago and he might have just bragged to all his friends and it would be whispered around town. Now he has a platform to broadcast it to thousands, but that will ultimately convict him. I hope.

Is it legal to shoot them down if they are hovering directly over your property? Or, if not shoot, in some other way haul them down to earth? Like, coincidentally having an impromptu firework party or playing a vigorous game of catch?

There is nothing wrong with any of the casting decisions.

I can tell you from experience that a sack full of cats is not really all that cute. There's some kind of inverse square law on cuteness per cat when you ramp up the cat per cubic inch.

I'm much more excited to see this guy than to see Superman again.

"Director Michael Bay "just asked us to kind of throw everything in there," says Balog."

I disliked PacRim and I don't have high hopes for T4, but I do think the artists and programmers and engineers have done a spectacular job with special effects in PacRim and I assume T4. I may not like the plot, but god damn they look beautiful.
