Every time Trump says something, the market reacts.
The one I use with zinc oxide rubs in. It takes a bit longer for you to rub it in but I don’t look pasty.
That is true. I just used the term to describe the difference between chemical filters and physical filters.
From this excellent site on sunscreens:
Our appetizers are always Trader Joe’s crackers, cheeses, guac, chips, or whatever suits the occasion.
My wife and I love gin and tonics. But, we substitute bitter lemon for the tonic. Yum, our favorite summer drinks.
Actually, it’s better to use a sun block. Most sun lotions use chemicals to absorb the UV rays. The more they absorb (i.e. the longer you’re in the sun), the less effective they are. Sun blocks, however, actually block the sun.
Actually, you’re starting to see more and more people using umbrellas in the sun (like they do in China, where having a tan marks you as a farmworker).
I have a friend who works for the Holocaust Museum in DC. He travels overseas often for work. He was told to always walk on the side of the street where cars are coming toward you. That way, you have a greater chance of seeing an attack coming your way, giving you time to get to safety.
I can relate to the leaves. I grew up in L.A. where a palm frond would drop every now and then. Now I live in the NE and have 80 leafy trees on my 1/2 lot. One number and one word: 529 now! (And congrats. July is a great month to be born. It’s been good for me.)
Here’s a free app for keeping one’s Mac desktop clear of files. It’s free and I’ve been using it for years. It’s called Clean.
This works for artists who read in an article about an exhibition their work would have been perfect for. Of course, the show is already up, but it gives me a chance to introduce myself and my work. It’s a strategy I’ve just started. While I haven’t heard from any curator as of yet, I feel like I’m at least opening…
Here is my go-to method for immediate cooling of white wine. But, this is not for a bottle, but for a glass of wine. And, it takes literally 2 seconds.
I talk to strangers in my office building’s elevators. I’ve even written about it.
