Pezcore, which depending on my mood, is my favorite LTJ album.

I think they still play. I might have read they're recording an ep? They played the 15th anniversary and were absolutely incredible.

All great choices!

The first out of town show I ever got to see was Ska Against Racism in 1998. Less Than Jake, Blue Meanies, MU330, Mustard Plug, plus a few others I think. My dad took a friend and me to Chicago from Fort Wayne because we were only 16. I must say, that's a pretty stacked lineup. I flew out to San Fran for the 15th

I really hope the RJVP podcast comes back this fall.

An episode that is all drop sounds great. I don't think it could beat the RJVP podcast episode that was a look back at the shows run though. https://www.bing.com/videos…

Didn't Claudia also call Mitch "prego Slimer" at some point. It could have been the accent, but the thought of prego Slimer really made me laugh.

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. It's super low budget, but it never failed to make me chuckle a few times per episode.

I agree. The third season was disappointing. It was still a fun watch, but the cast turnover really bummed me out.

"Incredible lack for lyrics." And here it sounded like you liked the guy. That's pretty harsh.

Does this mean there's hope for that new Wrens album?

As well they should be. Also, small nit, but Jawbreaker wasn't midwest (which I don't think you were implying anyway), but I see what you're saying.

I guess I'll say it. I enjoyed this movie. I expected it to be garbage like Ridiculous Six (or pretty much anything else he's done of late), but I found myself laughing a fair deal. Maybe I was in a good state considering summer break just started, but I certainly think it's better than a C-.

The plot of this movie ends up being Sandler's character trying to find the cure for cancer. He even says something to the effect of "no kid should grow up without their father." I kind of felt like the cancer story arc might be personal, and I guess it is. I also rather enjoyed this movie, although I went in with

I've been really excited to hear this. I didn't love Home Like NoPlace is There, but the hype over this album definitely peaked my interest. I think I'm hoping for a huge step up, like Harmlessness by TWIABP (a band I didn't much care for until Harmlessness blew my mind). I woke up early this morning so I could drink

Aka "little cuck" Wiger.

I watched all of Love and thought "this Paul Rust guy is insufferable." Then I heard him on Doughboys and thought "I might be totally wrong here." I then went back and listened to his numerous CBB appearances. It turns out he is great, I just hated his character on Love.

Exactly. Divisive seems like the wrong word here. The album is universally praised, as far as I know, and for good reason.

That was my first thought as well. With that said, I've only ever given this band a few listens, but I really enjoyed that song. Ill be giving this a spin , and pour out a cold one for The Weakerthans in the process.

I'm someone that fell out of the pop-punk game around the late 90's when my love of emo took over. With that said, I came across some silly pop-punk like The Hextalls, The Dopamines, and Masked Intruder and enjoyed all three very much.
