Every time I see something made out of legos, all I think is: "Half those pieces never even existed when I was a kid."
While I don't necessarily disagree with what you are saying, I can't say that I agree 100% either. A deposit does reserve an item for you, and usually if you do need to cancel it you don't get it back. But I think it is more of a mental thing, rather than a cost-cutting thing for the retailers.
Doesn't matter if your comfortable or not. If you need to fly you are going to fly - no matter what. And the more people they fit on a plane, the more they make. Your comfort isn't worth that much money to them, hate to say it.
I've done this numerous times over the past few years, and not only do I never receive complaints/warnings from the gamestop employees, I actually get phone calls if I don't pick up the preorder, telling me that I have credit at the store and I should come in soon to get it back.
Do what I do:
For a second I was worried that we wouldn't get a updates! Good thing there will be.
Good man! Just remember, if your wife/girlfriend/roommate/significant other/accountant/parents/children ever get in the way of you buying toys.... KILL THEM.
I agree with you, it could just as easily be Steam. But I don't think it should be.
I never said a better cable would transmit a perfect copy of digital information, I said it would transmit a BETTER copy of said information when compared to the crappy cable.
It's been said before, I'll say it again. HDMI cables are digital, the type of cable you buy does not improve the signal. Which is obvious, because the signal can only be as good as it was originally being transmitted, it can never be improved. But what the signal can be is degraded. You might not notice it much at 6…
Almost all of the trucks from every major manufacturer come completely prebuilt and ready to race. I agree with what you are saying though, building them provides just as much enjoyment as racing them (at least for me). Luckily, the quality of the parts they have been using has gone way downhill. So even if you buy a…
I'm sorry, but that just sounds ridiculous. Ans they are both being derpish, but EA is far worse.
That's what people said about Half Life 2 when it came out, and forced you to install Steam along with it.
^^ Even DSM is oudated. It's already been replaced with DSM2, which has already been replaced with DSMX, which is * supposedly* completely exempt from any sort of radio conflict.
Actually, those cars are almost impossible to find nowadays NOT prebuilt. Almost every car from every major manufacturer comes 100% complete right out of the box. And you are correct in saying that they are not toys - they're far more complicated from the $50 Toys-r-us pieces of junk.
Maybe in 1996... You can get a Stampede up to 70 on electric power today. Modern electrics can run circles around the gas versions.
indeed, it is
The "default" onces form the hobby shop - NOT toy store (big difference) - operate on spread spectrum 2.4 Ghz frequencies. Once a transmitter is bound to the receiver they use rotating codes to stay paired to each other. Only one receiver and one transmitter can be bound to each other at a time. Foolproof and…
EA doesn't have a problem with Direct2Drive because there is nothing in they way they work that states they can't use Origin or in-game DLC stores. On the other hand, Steam doesn't allow for it. So even when you buy BF3 on D2D, you are still going to be sending 100% of the profits from any DLC straight to EA, whereas…
