The thing that gets me is these are the same people who call US too easily offended and triggered.
Imagine being so insecure that a fake woman holding a position of authority in a videogame made you uncomfortable. I'm not at all surprised that their celebacy is involuntary.
Man, I’m all in on CA’s response to this. I mean, ya, they need the game to sell and all that, but I’m here for the “don’t like it, don’t play it” answer.
I don’t do microtransactions.
I am totally cool with this. One of the biggest problems I tend to run into when playing deck builders, is the deck building. It doesn’t hold my interest. I just wan to play the game. The only problem I can see with this is that i assume it costs money per deck that you buy? Or will there be a way to occasionally…
This sounds... Amazing.
Nothing is stopping you from buying multiple decks and just cherry picking to make one that works for you right?
Are you trapped in 2012?
I think “actual fans” would like to see a movie based on a popular character that has existed for 50 years.
EXACTLY. This belongs in that conversation because how do you think the first assault happened with these individuals? Was it ... oh all of a sudden I’m in the middle of my career and I’m going to straight up abuse this person? No... it was a long lengthy process of them doing WHATEVER they wanted for their own…
If they added it post-script because they felt it would facilitate the scene, and gave Sink time to digest the addition, that would be one thing, but if they specifically did it to make Sink feel uncomfortable then that is a big dick move.
It’s less about the act and more about the fact that it wasn’t part of the script, and the ONLY reason Duffers added it in was BECAUSE it made Sink uncomfortable. That’s an asshole move, no matter what. Why does that matter? Because we, as a society, need to stop making excuses and letting people get away with acting…
The Duffers in that Beyond Stranger Things episode came off looking obnoxious about this & I really do not think Sadie Sink was happy about the whole thing, especially them saying it was her fault for initially seeming freaked out about the prospect of the kiss, which them made them actually put it in the script.
While maybe not as severe as other sexual assault/harassment cases being brought forth, this is still fucked up. It’s absolutely wrong that these guys would pressure a young actress into doing an on-screen kiss, and then gaslight her when she’s not okay with it. It’s abuse of power, plain and simple.
It’s really weird to invoke Spacey and House of Cards about this. Spacey was an adult who was sexually assaulting minors and sexually harassing crew members on the set of his show. That’s not remotely comparable to a television showrunner deciding that a scene calls for two characters to kiss. There’s nothing…
Chuck E Cheese needs to be way higher on that list.
I thought the alt-right already had an official greasy, orange pile of garbage that makes your stomach cramp just by looking at it
dude, spoilers
Having Sesame Street available to kids on PBS is different from having it on a channel like HBO. This is also a post about a very specific aspect of the show, in which they mock the very thin-skinned president of the United States, and it’s mentioned in the first few sentences that it will continue on HBO. But yes,…
