Don’t see why this so horrible. I’m assuming that she is sincere in her desire to raise a consciousness in the cultures by placing herself in the culture. This is not blackface in which she is mocking the individuals. Is it self centered? Of course isn’t posting any picture of yourself self centered?

It’s very true that the district attorney’s office may not have pursued charges. Not because they don’t believe victims or because law enforcement is looking to blame victims, it’s because they are only supposed to file charges in cases where they have proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
