I like to double-tap on a column of text and read the N7 like a book. It is surprisingly a hugely more enjoyable experience than reading on a computer screen.
If you already use Gmail and other Google services (Google Drive, Calendar etc.), 90% of your needs are served by both the MacBook and Nexus 7. Google's offerings are far less dependent on what hardware or OS you use.

No, it is a reboot. In the original games Lara's parents are killed in a plane crash in the Himalayas, which Lara survives, discovering in the process that she is a "survivor". As far as I know in this reboot her parents are alive, and she generally has a different back story. Look it up.
