@tekdemon: CFC's weren't a problem until they were used as a propellant in aeresol cans, like deodorant and spray paint. In closed-loop systems (what they were made for), CFC's did not do a whole lot of damage.

I like character customization, when it's integrated into the game well (Fallout) and isn't the game's only selling point.
