Could be I suppose, but cars have had cabin venting like this for decades. My ‘73 bavaria has them incorporated into the C pillars. Modern car designs don’t really allow for this, so they hide them behind other things. 

Or, cut the valve off of a whoopee cushion and attach it to the vent, so that the car farts when you close the doors.

Pickup trucks usually have them in the rear cab wall, fyi, in case anyone was wondering.
