Geordi and Data are cool, but if they really want to get me interested in this series, how about a story of Garak and Bashir going around the galaxy solving crimes.

Not a big fan of that cover artwork, but those interiors with Uhura are lovely and a pretty good likeness to boot.

It sounds like they have the absolute right idea as to what the core optimism and humanism of Star Trek is, and what sets it apart and makes it unique among the big franchises.

Also Uhura looks awesome in that artwork.

As a systems and network security engineer, I cannot watch anything that involves any kind of “hacking” or computer/network stuff without throwing things at the screen and shouting, “NO! That’s not how this works! That’s not how any of this works!!!”

I know your pain. I work in IT and anytime something “technical” gets said in a movie or TV show it’s always wrong. God, CSI: Cyber was a horrible bundle of jargon the writers didn’t understand and buzz words that sound cool but mean nothing.

I think there have been three perfect superhero castings in my lifetime - Chris Reeve/Superman, Lynda Carter/Wonder Woman, and now Melissa Benoist/Supergirl. Everyone else has seemed like an actor playing a part, but those three just seem to have inhabited the roles completely. This comic sounds fantastic.

You can burn bushes, get slaves out of Egypt, dispense commandments. A lot of cool stuff.
