You’d be correct. I’m from Dublin. Dropkick Murphy’s have played here a number of times, sometimes on St. Patricks Day, but in rather small venues (max 1500 people). They usually sell out the venues or at least come close to it but it’s just because they happen to have some fans here rather than every Irish person

I think it’s just an internet joke. I don’t think the planet ever gets a name in the books, they’re just making fun of the three continents in the west, east and south being called Westeros, Essos and Sothoryos.

Thierry Henry would be proud of that play.

I could be wrong but I want to say they’ve already said it wont be region locked.

How I feel as a European

European here - I really liked the movie. I do play the games but I think that just let me get the in jokes, of which theres a few but nothing so important that it would ruin the movie for you if you didnt get why some of the audience laughed at something.

Now playing

If skateboarding gets in, lets hope they kick off the ceremony with this

NECA are ok, you get what you pay for though you do have to be careful when picking them up. I’ve gotten hit with a dodgy paint job once or twice.

Play Arts Kai used to be the sweet spot in terms of price to quality for me, but now they’ve gone up and up in price. I was happy to spend €60 on one of their figures, but

I’ve got an Ironman Mega Bloks minifig and it feels like it’s about to fall apart every time I look at it.

Those are almost certainly coming. They’ve a current line for Heroes of the Storm and they’ve made WoW figures before that. They’ve probably already worked out the deal with NECA for Overwatch figures.

If/When they make these, they’ll be Mega Bloks like all the other video game and in particular Acti-Blizzard things (Starcraft, WoW, CoD). And they’ll be terrible because they’re Mega Bloks.

Why do you care about how the Vive looks? You’re going to be wearing it at home, probably by yourself or with some friends. It’s not a fashion item.

I turned that “hold” feature on right away. I’ve no physical problem with mashing buttons, I just don’t like doing it.

Really great for these options to be in for people who truly need them so that they can enjoy the game too. Hopefully this sort of stuff starts becoming a standard. Even if the game has to autoplay

I’d never played a Moba before and I’ve never been yelled at in any game of HOTS that I’ve played.

No but he is the gatekeeper of his own convention and who gets paid to attend it and who gets to buy a table at it. And if he believes someone is doing something for reasons he disagrees with, it’s his choice if he doesn’t want to deal with that person if he believes their motives to be purely exploitative.

A few

“This guy doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously by big , crucial sites like Metacritic “

The same thing the guys who made Exploding Kittens did - use it to manufacture and distribute the game while making a profit. Its a preorder.

The fifth one down (all white room) looks kind of messed up. That looks like a solid floor and not a practice mat.

Usually with kickstarter board games it’s better to get them from the KS project as they’ll often throw in a bunch of stretch goals including models that will then be sold as individual products later. So your initial $100 investment get’s you more models. You should keep an eye on it and see what’s coming model wise

KD:M is the one kickstarter I regret not backing - but it’s such an expensive product now even by miniature board game standards. Untouchable mini’s though, easily some of the best in the business.
