Now that you finished blowing him let us in on the joke.

So am I, because a guy from Boston rooting for the Steelers is automatically an asshole in my book.

Am I the only one who WANTS this to happen? Please, Please, please let that wasteland of a town get this waste of a team. They're so perfect for each other they should tie the knot at the Graceland Wedding Chapel.

If there’s one thing the NFL needs, it’s a stadium that looks like a Tupperware casserole dish.

I think that they are just pictures taken out of the graphic novel version of “The Stand.” The one picture even has the Trashcan Man bomb in the seconds before detonation.

Is that a torch or a massive dumpster fire?

Easy. Gambling and hookers.

It’s...kinda fun?

Yes, but due to the slotting in the CBA, if he’s taken 10th overall or 20th, he will get less money than if he’s 3rd. I agree with him on the principal of this, but if he re-enters the draft he is most certainly going to make less money (of course he almost certainly is going to end up with a better organization too.)

You think giving up a year of salary is leverage. My goodness.

I wish someone would bang me like the Chargers are trying to bang Bosa.

It is amazing you are buying the narrative offer by the agent. Look, this is a business transaction. It will unfold as it will. Not everything involves good guys and bad guys. Both parties are trying to use their leverage to get as much as they can. This is how it should be.

Oh, come on. This is ridiculous. There are no good guys or bad guys. We have rich people fighting in the margins over how much money they get/give up. This is no morality play.

So he falls in the draft to mid to late first round and delays free agency by a year. How many millions does his “leverage” cost him.

Do they think they are going to bully him into accepting a bad deal by getting the media to badmouth Bosa?

There is practically no way that this course of action will lead to anything other than sliding through the draft, as well as postponing free agency for a year.

The problem with this though, despite the fact that I agree with Bosa taking a stand against the offset language, is that the Chargers really have all the leverage here. Sure, they might lose some goodwill from fans who are educated on the negotiations (which I would imagine is less than half), but is anybody actually

He could always sign a one year deal to go back to Ohio State.

I used to have a boss that walked around shouting, “why won’t they just do the job for what I tell them to do it for! GOD!”. He’s in jail now.

You can't blame him for believing an old wives' tale. After all, he made a funny face and it stayed that way.
