You wouldn't hear about cool vegans because they aren't bothering anyone. A lot of vegans are just into animal rescue and cooking delicious vegan food. I was one such vegan for years.

I’ve been a vegetarian for almost 20 years and most of the cooking I do for myself is vegan. I don’t bother anyone about what they eat and bloody well hate self righteous vegans. The normal vegans keep it to themselves. The annoying ones go online and yammer about bananas.
