Wait, RDM's BSG isn't perfect?

By the way, the whole New Caprica arc in the RDM version is pretty much taken from the Singer version (which would start on New Caprica, after the refugees from the 1978 original settled on a planet, living peacefully for years, until they're suddenly found by the Cylons)

Gotta Be Ghostbusters. People running around with unlicensed nuclear accelerators with out properly testing them.

It wasnt really meant to be an accurate representation of what they thought 30 years from then would be. Back to the Future was a sci-fi adventure comedy. Fine by me. I'm still very much enjoying him in the role and I think he's doing a great job.

I'd encourage you to give it another viewing. I'm not going to go so far as to say it's brilliant, but its isn't the "mysogynistic trash" that you think either. Gogogadgetanything's post above with a review from escapistmagazine.com has some very valid points about the intentionally confusing narrative of the movie.

I've always talked about how this is one of the most underrated movies ever. The key truly lies in the extended ending. It's one of the most egregious cuts ever. The extended ending ties the whole movie together in way that is incredibly satisfying. Like the video says, I very much hope that it will eventually be

Been rewatching this lately on Netflix, but can't bring myself to watch the first season. Also can't bear to watch Season 8, for that matter. (And still waiting for X here in the states).
