I’m really glad for this exchange, because I immediately wanted to hop on and buy this for my PS4...but if it’s roughly the same as the PS3 version, I suppose I ought to go and play that one. I never finished it anyway, but I was always a little bummed that they just cut the frame from the 4:3 format to fit a 16:9

Look how easy it was to get you to completely abandon any semblance of argument, so you focused solely on my person. Go in peace, sad bro.

Lol, “everyone.”

I’m wondering how many people are having this reaction, without remembering that Xur was selling Gjallarhorn right before they nerfed that, too. Sometimes the Nine just like to watch the world burn, I think.

I liked that the last few levels were short, because they really wanted you to get into the endgame (and be ready for the Frozen Wilds expansion), and by that point I wasn’t ready for another big ol’ boss battle. Plus, I like that I was able to get through the fights quickly, because it allowed me to remain focused on

It helps to picture how far out of his way he had to go to acquire that coin.

“Moving the goal posts” is a phrase used by people who don’t understand how arguments work.

Platinum is a verb now? Huh.

Lol, that is literally what is currently happening at Six Flags everywhere. Adults bring extra money to the park to participate in the extra things, like VR rides and extra attractions.

It’s impossible to come up with $20?

By my reading, this article is saying the prestige nightfalls are locked, but it does not clearly say (nor do I care, because like an actual fan of this game, I never even once considered buying the vanilla version, because who would) that the regular ones are.

I just don’t know who’d be so passionate about this game to participate in the online discussions about it, but who’d also be so cheap as to not have bought the full game up front. It’s $20 extra. That’s less than a tank of gas, or a month’s worth of internet access.

Your analogy, and your arguments, are bad.

I disagree with your usage of the phrase, “locked out.” This new content is additional, and wasn’t ever a part of the original selling price for D2. If you want to call that a restriction, fine, but it’s extra content that you need to pay to access. Six Flags won’t just let you into the waterpark if you only buy a

Lol, “measured response”

If you’ve spent enough time on D2 to have this thought, you’ve got time to pick a profile photo. And also, Titans suck in the crucible, so I’m happy if they’re slowing them down.

Oh my god, no. Negative. Roadhog is the worst.

FFX, I’ve come to realize, was my least favorite in the entire series. I even tried to play X-2 in the hopes I’d find some redeeming qualities in that world, but...nope. Snooze.

At no point in this thread did I say all new games are better than old games, but I will take this point to say that if you AND your friends are still REGULARLY playing old PC games from the 90s, that IS pretty sad.

Honestly, I don’t know who has time for old games. If you’ve got one or two classics that you love, and that have great replay value; actually, I really can’t think of an example where I care about old games anymore. I used to care, but now I don’t. Sony makes better new games anyway.
