@SG-17: That is what Wikipedia is still calling it as well. Luckily, Wiki says that it is only "informally" called "Zarmina's World", which is an even worse nickname than simply Zarmina.

@gravityhomer: I didn't mean that it wasn't known around the world, I just meant that the average person doesn't follow astronomy closely enough to necessarily have heard much about it, if that makes sense.

@grindilkin: Someone suggested Reach, which I think sounds good, even if it is lifted from a first person shooter.

@ltwass: I figure there may be a chance if they go with a different name before this hits a wider audience. Outside of io9, I haven't seen much mention of this. If a more mass media outlet brands it with something else, I think it could stick.

With a good creative team, I'd like to see a take on Mxy. If he was made as a creepy, behind-the-scenes characters that was mysteriously manipulating events, then I could see that going well. I don't think a goofy, comic relief take on him would be any good.

A friend was telling me about this. Apparently, when it came across the term "cookies", it labeled it as a baked good. However, that specific cookies was referring to the internet term. Thus, it started labeling all sorts of computer terms as baked goods. So, apparently it's not perfect yet, which means there is time…
