When my son was little we looked at a duplex. Nice place, fair rent but the owners, who lived downstairs, had a pool in the backyard that we would never be allowed to use. So, obviously everything in the units should be functional, but, as someone who pays $1,400 a month to live in a tiny garden (read:basement) unit, I find it hard to sympathize with complaints that $1,100 for a two bedroom in a safe neighborhood doean’t come with a doorman and a gym.

I know there’s some nuance here about why he was found guilty of only half of his charges that I’m probably missing. I just would’ve preferred to hear “guilty on ALL counts”. Still, watching…

Fuck that. This was the best thing that ever happened to this kid, and he was in no way ‘damaged’ to the point of 15 million dollars.
