I chuckled at this

We’re (my wife and I, now newborn son) are very nomadic...we moved from Fort Worth to Vegas in January. We drove our Civic to Vegas (wife was still preggers) while the in-laws watched our beloved Australian Shepherd.

She then flew back and drove our RAV with MIL and dog out here...unfortunately, the AC crapped out. In

For me, the best choice (if I could only choose one) would be a five-door GTI.

LOL what have you been up to old friend?

We (wife and I) test drove that exact GLA. Great ride, and can confirm that most dealers stock ones that are closer to $40K+.

The answer, once again, is Miata.

Longtime dealership/auto industry veteran here...having worked on salary and straight commission, I feel that every dealership needs to move to the salaried/unit bonus business model. It’s a win/win situation for everyone involved.

Yes, absolutely...I can check the ergonomics without a salesperson breathing down my neck.

Given the choice between these two, base 911 because of personal preference.

I had a few customers give me cash/cheques over the years. Always made my day.

I would give him/her some cash or a gift card as a thank you for his/her time.

I don’t agree with all of this advice (never, ever borrow money from loved ones), but going through a credit union is the smartest way to go.

OMG BenLikesCars! It’s me, KoreanCowboy! :-)

I would disagree about the looks, because IMHO, the 456 is the best looking Ferrari post-1990, with the 512 TR being a close second (should have kept the Testarossa name).

Where are you located?

I’ve always found that if you stumble upon a dealership that lets the salespeople negotiate their own deals, 1) you get a better deal, and 2) it’s a better experience.

I’m proud to say that I was always that type of salesperson, which is probably the reason why I sold so many cars.

She's looking at it from the perspective that you shouldn't have most of your monthly income tied up in a depreciating liability.

Chances are, most of the salespeople took advantage of some absurd lease special, and now the employee's section looks like another part of the new car section of the dealership.

Scott is whiny little crybaby that I have zero respect for.
