Yikes... This is why I did not trust the Gamestop guy who told me I could do this... :) Not even worth the extra $30 to me.

Thanks, I needed to know that too! I was worried I'd complicated it for myself when trying to make it easier.
You are kind of contradicting yourself. You're saying it does nothing to differentiate it as being new, but it has "New" right in the title. I ain't saying it's a wonderful or even good name, but it is a different name, and I think it sort of gets the point across...
But it's called "New," sort of like the "New iPad" (which is now the old iPad). Surely you would see the "New" and realize it's at least different, if not outright... new.
That battery test is silly. Who plays with everything turned off on minimum brightness? Play it like a normal person and that "50 minute difference" becomes 25 minutes, or 10 minutes. And at that point, who cares?
This looks great!
Okay, cool. Thanks!
Yeah, it's still my favorite. :) And I still wish they'd made the CD drive for it.
You buggers! Well, here's to hoping I can find one tomorrow (if not at Gamestop) so I can get $70 anyway. :P Er, well, I guess it would still be $70 or Saturday or whenever too if it's not $100 tomorrow (and maybe only on New 3DS purchase) anyway.
Nintendo isn't exactly explicit about all this, though. And this is on the heels of their past policies which people said they were burned on a lot (needing a police report for a lost system and stuff). Not worth the risk for me. I could definitely name at least five games I've bought on the eShop though, just from…
Well, they don't have any for me to buy, and there's no way I'd trade in my old one without doing a system transfer first. :) My understanding was it ran through Saturday. Either way, I think their normal price is $75, which is okay.
How the hell did Luke Plunkett get in there?
Woops sorry replied multiple times.
It seems like most folks are going to be playing multiplayer, and this review focuses mostly on single-player.
