Thanks, that's what I was wondering but didn't want to get spoiled. Can't wait to play this. Small town, narrative, outdoor exploration, depressing horror—wow!

Holy moly. That's not just a Twitch person tho. It's a Kotaku editor. He makes his money writing, not making Twitch videos. I have not watched the video, mind. I wouldn't let your hatred of the whole Twitch scene make you hate Mike, though!
I really wanted to read this review, but I stopped after a few paragraphs because I don't want to spoil anything. I already bought the game and am pretty darn sure I'll love it for the outdoor visuals and exploration alone. Guess I'll read the review after I finish it (which seems a bit odd).
Thanks, would never have noticed this without Kotaku! Backing!
I wish companies would be willing to release games with minimal profits. It creates good will and gets us to buy their other stuff. And, it might end up being more profitable than they think, as I'd imagine Bravely Default and Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies were.
I want it.
How come the item box is glitched out? Something to do with the cloud appearing at the Bowser segment?
Unchained Blades did pretty well over here, so I'd imagine we'll see this one too if XSEED is able.
Yeah, it doesn't seem like it would take a ton of work to spruce it up some...
Nope, I agree. Not what I was expecting.
I think I must have fairly small hands, and it's even a problem for me. It's a bizarre location for a speaker, especially considering the excessive bevels above and below the screen.
It sounds like it doesn't even work well in Japan, though, unless they really are able to iron it out.
I really don't think this is going to work until we all have really fast internet connections. My mom gets 1 Mb/s. That's an 8th of a megabyte. She has a hard enough time streaming Netflix. I think I get 10 Mb/s, and I doubt that's even enough to play without lag.
We broke Sega's heart by not making these games profitable enough to translate. I wish they'd just do it anyway, for our love. Translate, subtitle, publish on PSN, done. No physical release needed.
lolol! :)
Yeah, I worded it kind of weird (just plain wrong) when I said "port". I think what I meant is I wish the remake would have been done on something more powerful than a DS if they were going to do full 3D. Now they keep porting the remake all over the place, and the resolution goes up, but like you said, the textures…
Oh great. Now we're going to get a bunch more conversations about how much Kickstarter sucks and how it's such a risk, etc etc. Personally, everything I've ever backed has turned out pretty darn great. Maybe I just have good taste.
After I chided you for it, I almost did it by accident elsewhere! Easy to do! I would actually have loved a 3DS port instead (like with good 3D instead of ugly).
Yeah, I love that PSP version. I'd always wanted a 3D remake of FFIV, but not the one we got! The PSP version hits all the right nostalgic notes, though, and looks darn pretty. And, you can still even see the pixels, which I like. Would still like a nice 3D remake of FFIV though.
