Yeah, the DS version of Mario 64 is horrendous. And it does feel strange with Wii controls as well. Quite a shame. You'd think a 3DS port might be fine, though.

Yeah, the first time I played it on Wii on the VC, I was shocked by the graphics. I wasn't used to the way retro games looked on new TVs at that point. I have gotten used to how SNES games look now (and really like it!), so I would probably be able to enjoy how N64 games look now, too.

Yeah, I'm worried the battle system would put me off. I'm sure I'll grab it when they have a sale, though. Seems a shame to miss it. I never thought it would get localized, and I complained bitterly, and now look at me, not even buying it until it goes on sale!

I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to play Akiba's Trip or not. I guess it will have a crazy discount sale eventually and I'll happily buy it. The reviews have scared me off really.

I've been meaning to play OoT for like 20 years. When did it come out? Since then. I've started it about 10 times on several systems and never finished it. I still haven't accepted Zelda in 3D, I guess.

Playing Persona 3 and 4 at the same time?? Madness!

I loved the hell out of the original Kingdom Hearts but hated the sequel.

Good taste!

I'm finishing up Dragon Warrior II on Game Boy Color and might move on to DWIII after that.

Looks neat! Seems like it would suit mobile devices, though (I know, ugh!) rather than console/PC. 3DS/Vita/etc would be a nice fit.

I was wondering about this too!!

The good news is that the study showed 72 percent of participants preferred to use their right ear to listen. The bad news is that the study doesn't document effects on the left ear, and there's nothing beyond Tommasi's quote to suggest it's better for emotional cues.

Chewing gum can boost mental performance, but it can be distracting to those around you, and unhealthy for you. Gretchen Rubin of The Happiness Project recommends switching to coffee stirrers:

Several places have reported this body hack, but often misinterpreted as "blowing air onto your thumb," according to a discussion in Reddit. What you actually need to do is put your thumb in your mouth, make a seal and blow.

This game looks so cool. Got the first one during the recent sale and really excited to play it! Suppose I'll wait for a sale on this one, too, in the mean time. This is why we can't have nice things, because I'm a cheapass. (I bought three copies of Bravely Default though, so don't say I don't take one for the

Luke is probably smart to do this. My backlog stretches back to like 1991.

What a cool interview. Well done, Jason. Sakaguchi is a really neat guy!

I've heard so far that every Star Trek series has been terrible. So is Star Trek terrible?

Well that's kind of ridiculous. Give people refunds at least.

Really can't wait for this. I want to be lonely in the wilderness.
