@Charlie Jane Anders: It was mostly Nicolas Cage and Bill Nighy I had the problem with. They were arguably the biggest names connected to the project yet they had the most uninspired voice acting.

Astro Boy the movie wasn't that bad. It suffered mainly from one or two crappy voice acting choices.
