@Foohy: I disagree. A trilogy could still work as long as they reworked it, rewrote it, and recast it.

@Paul_Is_Drunk: Dude, I don't know. But if people consider Troll 2 to be the benchmark of bad movies, then it is not out of line to use it as a comparison.
Immediately thought of this commercial. What the hell is wrong with me?
@t3knomanser: What?! Louise Jameson is a hottie!
@Julius Seizure - Proud Canuck: All excellent choices.
Re-watching the Avatar series (or at least my favourite episodes). I need a cleanser...
@healthycheekums: Little know fact. The real world is rendered in PAL.
I am perplexed by how adversely affected I am by this movie. Hell, I've seen plenty of bad adaptations before; Catwoman, GI Joe, Transformers 2, etc and I even got angry about some of them. But I never got depressed over any of them.
@Anna-Maria Jung: What I thought (well, screamed at the top of my lungs) when I read the Kyoshi bit was, 'Then make that your second act you fucking hack!!"
@franklinshepard: The first series is a bit hit and miss with maybe one or two excellent episodes (although others will surely disagree). The Blue Spirit being one of them. The series really picks up more in the second series. The journey of Zuko is probably the defining element of the series in my opinion.
@Foohy: Either the trilogy is dead or Shyamalan is out. Hopefully Shyamalan is out.
@fatherfak: You know what though? I can except that. I can except the fact that the movie isn't going to have everything, that it's going to be different, that maybe the humour won't be the same. I cannot except a movie that completely misses the point.
@EskimoPimp: It's the new Troll 2. Except instead of being almost endearingly bad, like so bad that it loops around to being kind of awesome, it's just bad.
@ddhboy: What I want to know is this, though. Where the fuck was Viacom, or even the original creators, to protect there investment. I'm sorry, but you don't give 280 million dollars to an Auteur director who even his most ardent supporters agree makes movies only a minority like and not keep a pretty close eye on…
@SqueakyPlatypus: Me personally, I'm not a huge of corduroy. But for Matt Smith... might work.
@Batmanuel: Ok, I just did a very manly squee. It was as disturbing as it sounds.
@tenthrow: You know too much...
The basic concept of this episode did feel like it would have made a better 2 minute throw away gag. Ah well, there were still a few funny bits and you can't expect every episode to be genius. Well, I guess you could. But you'd be disappointed.
@deeemer: Ok, but where's the tension? He's hot, spanish, and a freakin' billionare! Heck, I'll marry him, make sure he signs a prenup, then divorce his ass.
Ian McKellan you say? I thin Allan Rickman and his futuristic canon might have something to say about that.
