I’m conflicted because a drive to give people what they deserve has 2 faces in a scenario like this.

In a sport like surfing, why do they even need a women’s division? It was a necessary step to allow women to compete, but then why not create one ‘open’ competition? Then there’s one prize pool to avoid any comparisons.
