"Trains are blameless, holy creatures"

For real, especially after their stupid Pepsi Perfect debacle where it all went on sale early, oops

That's just nostalgia for fat Chris Pratt

Sestero, not SesteroS

I take it you haven't been on the web recently. Embedding social media is all the rage.

I love RiffTrax. My one wish is that they had a bigger writers' room, because it feels like it doesn't have enough voices sometimes.

I can agree with all of the Braff/Smith comparisons. But Garden State is fine. It's flaws are not unlike most films made by writer-directors with too much power: lots of questionable shit should have been cut.

I don't precisely recall, but having J.D. diss Eliot at the very end of whatever season that was was really the beginning of the end.

Yeah, I think that moment is unfairly picked on. If you can't be an asshole about art in your early 20s, then when can you be? I remember how many copies of tattered old novels I bought back then to feel important and deep.

When Elizabeth Banks shows up, the show is derailed. Not her fault though. She's lovely.

I remember being surprised at how much I didn't hate this movie, and was actually quite fond of some parts. Though it's tone-deaf take on nerds and Comic-Con struck me as a particularly early-2000s mentality

Agree. The AV Club circa the early seasons was terminally wrong about Scrubs.

What a story!

Read "The Disaster Artist." Seriously.

I keep getting the idea that Joel is late to the party, and that, while he created it, he didn't shape it on his own. And now for him to be riding in with Shout! at his back like he's bringing movie riffing to the starving masses, well…we've had it already with a team that has proven chemistry. I hope MST3K 2.0 works

I have no love or hate of J. Elvis, but I did take a picture with him to be polite.

For some reason Tommy Wiseau likes to say he supports things 40%. It's weird.

What, no Pepsi's A-List?

The fights in the movie look brutal, though I'm not a boxing fan so I have no idea if it's realistic. I assume there's some CGI wizardry involved.

Man, this movie was really great. And I hate boxing.
