Yeah, I've worked in TV news for 15 years, and there's no messier piece of broken shit than the anchor desk.

Damn you beat me to it.
They're New York Teamsters, they're probably bringing in $300K a year anyway
While auctioning it off for charity would have been the wise choice, I think most people don't realize that TV sets are basically cleverly-disguised garbage in the first place.
Like that dog that was behind it all!
I'm a sucker for Disneyland and all that line drawn '60s dreaming about the future that was a big fixture of Tomorrowland there before the 1998 overhaul. There's a story to be told here about Tomorrowland, about a place cooked up and populated by dreamers like Walt Disney, but the movie doesn't do it. Instead…
THIS JUST IN: content-creation websites lambast other content-creation websites for being profitable!
I wanted to love this movie so much, but it's just a boring mess. And the retro-future stuff isn't event that cool looking…it's all touch screens and shit. Come on Brad Bird, give me CRTs and toggle switches!
They try to do this at press/preview screening for movies I go to, but with a strange randomness. Its such a stupid, archaic notion that some jackass has 2+ hours of space on his phone.
Isn't the Pearl Bailey High School one an American Dad joke?
Higgins and Banks are gold in this. GOLD.
This almost feels like one more negotiating tactic, like Fox did with the Futurama cast pre-revival, putting out a very public casting call.
Settle down, I never said anything like that. But when we're all hand-wringing over another attractive white woman (ScarJo) getting the shaft in a shitty toy, to then dismiss a movie directed by a woman about women who don't rely on men just because "oh, they're white and attractive" just sounds like you're looking…
Rebel Wilson has at least as big a role as Kendrick and maybe more. But go ahead and be outraged.
I understand your pain. I liked the movie okay enough, found the lack of any sort of character development or explanation of the mythology disappointing, and couldn't understand why the rest of the world is filling buckets full of jizz over this movie.
Ugh, okay, sure
I said "a lot" not "all."
Well the idea is to make MORE movies in the same vein if this one is successful, you see…
Well THAT was a bad movie.
I meant that more in a general "fanboy-beloved movies that the public didn't latch on to" sense.
