I don't mind the superheroes being off-brand. Hell, it would be weird if they were real characters

GAY PANIC
When we got our first computer in 1991, I bought two games for it: a copy of Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? that didn't work properly because it came with the wrong almanac so the answers you had to give it after solving a case were never correct and this ho-hum Spider-Man side-scroller with the most awesome…
I was bored by him in Parks and Rec, then I wanted to punch him in the face when I saw him in "All The Real Girls" after that.
For real. I've even interacted once or twice with Mike and Bill on Twitter. One particularly proud(?) moment of mine was referencing a tiny plot point of Nelson's "Death Rat!" novel back to him, which he seemed to appreciate.
One of my favorite things about the Mike era: they'd laugh at things one another said. It just feels way less stagey and more true to how it would be talking shit with your friends.
I just wonder how long the Satellite News guys can keep re-reviewing old MST3K episodes.
E-I-E-I don't think so.
I was thinking the same sort of thing with the Super Mario Bros. riffs. But it was so funny I forgave it.
I have a friend who was very mad that they riffed that
Every frame of this movie looks like someone's last-known photograph
This guy…
No, I get it. There are recurring bits of Rifftrax I'm not fond of (the Nick Nolte stuff always falls flat to me) but I think you're perhaps overreacting. Which would be a first on the internet.
I don't care what anyone says, Bill Corbett is the funniest MST3K alum.
Nowhere, I just assumed. I believe his dad was fairly ill at the time too.
Trace was my favorite of them all. I told him a weird (yet true) story of my best friend calling me from Trace's driveway in LA 10 years ago. He was there shooting some short film that Trace's wife was producing. He was ooged out at first, then he remembered. But greeting one of my comedy idol's with "my friend called…
To be clear, unless its a real stinker (Twilight series) I pretty much ignore the Rifftrax mp3 tracks and stick with the VOD B-movies. I think Cinematic Titanic concentrated too much on the gimmick and had too many voices. The previously-mentioned J. Elvis was a non-starter to me, and Joel seemed to be trying too…
Dewey Croooooooooooooowe!
I met Weinstein at a CT show and took a pic with him, mostly to be polite.
From what I understand, Mallon is still in charge of Best Brains, whatever it is they actually do. He was supposedly the reason Rhino had to punt The Film Crew (proto-Rifftrax) to Shout! Factory because he threatened to pull the DVD rights from Rhino. Not sure where I heard that…
