Was I the only one that vastly preferred when Mr. Rogers would lead off the adventures into the Land of Make Believe by using those awesomely-detailed miniatures he kept stored on the shelf as opposed to sitting on the bench and sending Trolley off into the wall?

I was actually quite fond of (and surprised by) this movie. While I haven't read the novel, the movie explains who the Boneys are in a way that services the plot just fine and doesn't really beg more explanation. They're too-far-gone zombies, case closed.

I disagree with the effectiveness of showing the monster so early. It left me twiddling my thumbs for an hour while I waited for everyone else in the film to figure out "oh hey, this Mama person is a monster!"
