My experience with Sears was that I was at the store, and the item was about 50% less online. Also, it was close to Xmas and the lines were long. The pickup confirmation took awhile to arrive (15 minutes or so) and afterwards I had to wait for at least 15 more minutes.

Lots of Chrono Trigger too especially the battles and the lab looks like one of the dungeons from the future time. Phantasy Star , Chrono and Suikoden are basically my favorite RPGs. They are hitting me straight on. And the heroine's name is Alyssa, just take my money already! Love the jokes and references.

Love the Batman detail.

A Naruto (J)RPG on current gen would be nice.

Since it's the same as the Steam version, I'm curious. Is the Steam version worth it compared to the PSOne version which I already own? I intend to replay it in the near future.

You're saying this about your $400 rig? Ohh wait, that'll only get get you PS3 like graphics. :-D Being serious, I just made a $400 rig and it just barely runs my Oculus Rift games. :-/ so, for $400, the Ps4 looks awesome.

I and II were fast paced and had a great story, lots of hidden gems and side quests, great characters and awesome villains and lots of intrigue and betrayals. Most people agree that II is better, I myself enjoyed the first one more since it was the first decent PSX RPG. I often compared the first two to Chrono

I can't believe nobody mentions that Suikoden (both I and II) has a striking resemblance to Chrono Trigger. The world map is the same, combat is as quick and has combination attacks (not many RPGs had them, only Chrono and Phantasy Star 4 that I know of), pacing and leveling are balanced in a way that you can just

I'm gonna put it on a 45 degree angle or upside down to create the full retro effect.

Very good point!

Part of the Playstation demographic are minors. They won't feel any guilt whatsoever to gaze and fantasize with a girl. If you are an adult you might just ignore the title, just like you ignore other kids games. If you are a pedophile, you'll face less jail time if you take out your unhealthy desires on virtual

However, using dry ice might entitle you to a fabulous Darwin Award!

Like Nick says, it's mostly proportional to experience, so you probably won't start making that much unless you have enough XP points (or Levels, lol). I recommend you start participating in projects while your are in school, even if its pro bono, so you aquire proper experience and hands-on. I for one started

As a software developer (business software) and gamer, I'm constantly impressed about the UI in games and think that it would be awesome to be able to integrate some techniques used in games.

Couldn't agree more, it's still my favorite game. SEGA should revisit PS and other forgotten franchises as madOgre points out. Also would love a sequel to Golvillius and Kenseiden.

I think its awesome! One could transmit a song by playing it on one device and recording in the other.....ohh wait...i think i missed the point :-P

Those 2.99 can't even pay for 1 minute of game development time, and yet you think its expensive? As a software developer I weep for our career :-(

Agree about Sony's designs. I bet Apple took a page from their first VAIO Z's and Clié pdas. Sony isn't just good enough in making people pay the high prices unlike Apple, who somehow manage to get away with murder. That being said, I like both companies since they always push the design aspect of products.
