I thought I recognized the reporter. That's the guy (Richard Hart) that hosted "The Next Step" on Discovery Channel way back when. I loved that show and Beyond 2000.

@Scott Messinger: I'm not sure about other phones, but with the Hero, you generally have to be doing something stupid to completely brick the phone when just messing around with the various roms. You do have to take care when updating the Radio software, however.

HTC Hero (CDMA). I root for the custom ROMs. I'm running CyanogenMod 6 (Android 2.2) and I love it. I giggled like a schoolgirl when somebody says, "penis", the first time I played with Chrome-to-Phone.

How did it get like that in the first place? How could an atmosphere develop in that kind of situation and how long has this been going on? I can't imagine that it would occur over thousands of years. Interesting.
