All right, I'll be that guy. When tasting the bacon soda, Alex comments about how it tastes "like a flat Scotch, but has somehow been re-bubblefied"…I'm so confused by this. Scotch doesn't have carbonation, so could never be re-bubblefied? Or perhaps it was meant as a flat Scotch and Coke or something. Shrug.

I love Kate Bush, but I don't know that I would consider Running Up That Hill pop. Wuthering Heights has a bit more of a traditional structure.

I prefer 720.

Shut up baby, (we) know it!

Man, I haven't seen this movie in ages. Time to re-watch.

My spinach puffs!

I love that effect. There should be (and probably is) a drinking game based around it.

Who knew?

I dunno, I think it's hilarious, and I am requesting a WTC cake for my next birthday.

Alright, I'll be the pedant that takes shakes their fist about the phrase, "soaked to the quick". You're mixing your idioms here. Should be "soaked to the skin", although I've also heard "soaked to the bone".

To be fair, I liked it a lot, and I think the soundtrack, along with Under the Skin, is one of the best I've heard in a while.

The one thing that drove me a little crazy (which can be explained away by anxiety/confusion) is that one of the very first things said is, "Don't go into a place without another exit" and yet all the characters consistently continue to do just that, over and over and over and over and over (you get the point).

This is a legitimately great job, internet.

SHAKE SHACK

Ahh, so this is how the great Franchise Wars of which Demolition Man spoke of begin.

To be fair, It Follows, while awesome, wasn't exactly air-tight.

Terrible Job, Internet.

'Twas ever thus.

And if you live in Boston, they're doing a Lovecraftian movie celebration until next Monday at the Brattle Theater!

I want to know more about the Asian guy with his pinky cut off.
