I posted above, but have you tried Clausthaler? I’m not sure it lands in the “genuinely good” category, but it’s pretty decent.

I’ve always been a fan of Clausthaler myself. It tastes close in style to a märzan, and it has a good amount of flavor. Probably the WORST I have ever had is from a local place near me, Schmohz, or Bitburger Drive.

I think we need to start arming and training students, in order to stop the teachers that we armed and trained in order to stop the school shooters.

Expressing admiration of Graham, and hugging someone are not surprising to me. It would not be that surprising to me if Trump has, at times, shown compassion, grace, and kindness. However, one of the crucial points of integrity is that our private lives and our public lives should strongly resemble each other.

Definitely a disappointment, but I do know where to find cute puppies in a pinch.

“Most days, I’d rather have a great chicken sandwich than a boyfriend, so I’d personally err on the side of the restaurant.”

This movie wasn’t for me in that regard, but I can certainly appreciate the movement it’s starting in Hollywood, and within culture. The world IS changing, and already has changed, and my guess is you’re going to mourn that for a long time to come.

Don’t worry about Dwayne. He’s got burners for days. And hot takes.

I saw a meme on imgur that said, essentially, “FACT: Black Panther is just a superhero movie, not a movement.” and I was called a 13 year old edgelord, an SJW, and something else I’m not comfortable writing out, for disagreeing with that. That’s kind of where things are at right now. I guess I shouldn’t have expected

Same.. I realized when I read that line that I was unintentionally “not all white people-ing” my way through the article. Appreciative of Michael and The Root for breaking down my blind spots.

Yeah, I think it’s run the course. Not much else to say at this point.

Hah, thanks for the heads up, good to know. I don’t think trolls like this guy realize how much of a platform they can create for social conversation.

Nah, I’m not concerned with the fact that you didn’t like it, this wasn’t about that. It was about the critique, and misrepresentation of it as a “white-hating” movie. This isn’t edgy politics, it’s social politics, and my wife digs it. One thing we doagree on is that I hope nobody is talking about this movie in 5

Truthfully, it was never really about him anyway, he’s already made up his mind.

I’ll be honest, you do seem a little butthurt about it, and not because you’re a discerning moviegoer. I thought it was scary, funny, and interesting, and gave me an opportunity to look inward. Often, in situations like this, people will try and discredit something to try and remove its power. I’m not sure if it’s for

I’m not of the opinion that white society is all that ready to take in something that isn’t heavy handed. And you’re right, every character IS crazy, because every single white character is part of a pretty specific demographic being targeted by the movie. Do you genuinely connect with any of the white characters in

I hope that is a reference to the K&P skit, because I love that.

It’s an allegory, brother.

So, with the original, it’s two women talking or engaging in things that are important to them, without referencing an external framework (men). Maybe the Black Bechdel test could be a celebration of Black Culture without the need to speak from within the context of whiteness. A lot of the movies that I’ve seen deal
