Yes, but they also inflict Joe Buck on us.

I’m afarid I’m going to have to disagree with your assesment, the contact earlier in that lap I thing dameged his tire causing him to go off track in the chicane. Either way though it was awsome final lap racing for the lead in a 24 hour race.

Does anybody read these articles?

These are amazing. I know it wasn’t, but due to the limits of then-modern photography I always picture life 50-100 years ago as washed out and grainy. Really interesting to see modern life shot that way.

When starting a car in a garage with a 1 year old in the bedroom above, I’d be pretty thankful for a quite exhaust on the start.

Wrong assessment. He shouldn’t have gone whipping as fast as he thought possible (that is, faster than he could safely judge the road). By the time he started thinking about ‘oh what do I do now’ he was already committed to going too fast into too tight of a corner. That is, he was fucked. The unfixable mistake was

They were initially pulled over because their BREMBO & MONSTER stickers were not in both official languages.

You betcha...made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs!

This was typical “Rowdy”. Logano did hit him, but not intentionally.

Has he ever been to Oshkosh? I’m sure he has.

He’s Presumed Innocent, but that plane was a Clear and Present Danger to the jet. What if it had been Air Force One?! If I were a Witness, I’d be Frantic. What Lies Beneath that little plane... I mean, he could’ve been a Widowmaker.

He’s just shifting his grip. Stretching his fingers and “savoring” the feel of the wheel.

I have to admit that I’m completely guilty of doing that when I sit down and grasp the excellent feeling steering wheel of a sports car, and get that “ready to race” feeling in my head. It’s a

I’m not really a Hamilton fan, but taking it slow in first place in hopes that Rosberg would wreck or finish 4th was pretty much his only viable strategy to win the championship. You can’t really blame him for trying to win.

This confirms Jalopnik staff can always find something to whine about.

I'll respond, why not? I appreciate your concern, and I'm the first to admit I'm not a pro driver. When I write, I usually tend to emphasize that as well (sometimes for comic effect)— but I'm by no means dangerous or anything like that. I have a lot of experience with cars and driving, and I'm aware of my limitations.
